Huge Black And Orange Spider?

No specifics, just country or state. From the description, I'm not sure what it could be. Since it was under the carpet I presume it was not in a web. Wolf spiders are usually fuzzy and brown, not shiny and black, and do not have colorful markings on the abdomen.
