How to take image of windows xp on any drive of hard disk so that I can format c drive and setup widows again?

Get a program like Norton Ghost or Acronis Trueimage. Not sure why you'd want to do this though. There is no benefit to formatting your c drive if you're just going to restore everything exactly as it was before.
